The Cat Doctor in Atlanta, GA is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our practice. We’re a thriving, independent, woman-owned business that has been serving Buckhead and Sandy Springs for over 30 years.

Why you’ll like working here.

  • Competitive pay - At $17 - $20/hr, you’ll be earning more than most other vet assistants in the Atlanta metro.

  • Competitive benefits - Paid vacation, paid sick time, and health care is just the start. We also offer a 401k match and yes - the rumors are true - a free Costco membership.

  • Opportunities for growth - We are happy to invest in employees who want to grow. If you show commitment to us, we’ll pay back the favor through continuing education and raises.

  • Lots of work-life balance - To start, you’ll be scheduled 4 days a week with no late shifts and (normally) alternating Saturdays off.

  • Next-to-free cat healthcare - We provide deep discounts on veterinary services and boarding for the cats of all of our employees.

  • The Office Manager has your back - Our office manager has been with us since 2006. She is a fierce advocate for all of our employees. She’ll help you learn the adorable and often strange world of cats, talk unhappy clients off the ledge, and make sure the pantry is stocked with your favorite snacks.

  • Join a woman-owned business - Come lend your talents to help a woman-owned business thrive. Less than 15% of small businesses are female-owned. We’re looking for someone to help ours grow.

  • Great location - We’re located 10 minutes outside of the heart of Buckhead on Roswell Road. Our office is nestled in one of Atlanta’s safest neighborhoods (next door to Chastain park) where you’ll find an abundance of excellent lunch restaurants.
